Yesterday the pond in The Rookery, Kibworth, was dredged in preparation for the pond works which will be starting on Monday 12th September. The works will take 2-3 weeks and will include a new base for the pond, and a fibreglass lining which will improve the overall condition and appearance of the pond. The car park on Barnards Way will be closed for the day on Thursday 11th August 2022 from 8.30am and there will be no access for parking of vehicles.
This is due to the setting up and running of the mobile skatepark event located there, which is taking place from 10am to 5pm.

The playground on Smeeton Road will be closed from Monday 15th August for up to one month so that the equipment and surfaces can be upgraded, including the addition of more inclusive equipment.
