Kibworths Neighbourhood Plan Referendum date 4 May

The review version of the Kibworths Neighbourhood Plan is now ready for a referendum on 4 May about whether it is to be adopted by the electorate of the two Kibworths. If a majority vote YES then the policies will be incorporated into the HDC local Plan when considering planning applications.

Several policies have been updated or strengthened since the original Neighbourhood Plan was adopted in 2018. Neighbourhood Plans help communities to guide and shape development in their local areas. These powers give local people the opportunity to shape new development, as planning applications are determined in accordance with national planning policy and the local development plan, and Neighbourhood Plans form part of this Framework.

Hardcopies are now available in the Kibworth Community Library, the Parishes Office at Kibworth Grammar School Hall and by appointment at HDC Symington Building in Market Harborough.
