Pop up food bank on High Street, by referral only
Just to update that The Well (as stated on our website and Facebook page) is now solely a Pop-up food bank and NOT as advertised open to the public for coffee, cake & chat any longer for obvious reasons!
The food bank service can be accessed by referral only through schools, local surgeries, church referee or a family member. However, we are distributing the meals so generously cooked by The Railway Arms and people may ring us between 10am-1pm week days to check eligibility for this scheme on 0116 2790148. Alternatively, contact manager@thewellkibworth.org. Food bank donations can be left at The Co-op or the door of The Well between the hours above. Many thanks for your support as we do appreciate it, and thank you to everyone who is improvising with food supplies but this is a much needed service, appreciated by many this week. The Railway Arms (pub on Station Street): 0116 479 1402 - all dishes cost £5: There is beef or vegetarian lasagne, cottage pie, beef pie, chicken pie, and sausage and mash (vegetarian option available). All are served with mashed potato and vegetables.
