Cllr Patricia Formoy
Councillor
Kibworth Beauchamp Parish Council
As a resident of the village for 20 years, I asked to be co-opted on to the parish council in order to put something back into our community. I have been a parent governor at the primary school and I have stood for election to the District Council for the Liberal Democrats, losing out to Councillor Feltham.
On retirement from my career, first in industrial marketing and export sales and then as a teacher in the public sector and head of Modern Languages at Leicester High School, I took on other voluntary roles. I drive for VASL, teach English to refugees through Leicester City of Sanctuary and am a member of the South Leicestershire Litter Wombles.
I am a keen golfer and past captain at Kibworth Golf Club and know all the local footpaths thoroughly from daily dog walks with a gorgeous and energetic blue merle border collie.
