Cllr John Hooley
I think Kibworth is the best place to live and hope it continues to be so.
I am a retired Architect, where I was a Company Architect for a housing developer. This wide and varied experience has proven useful in our work on the Neighbourhood plan scheme for the Kibworths.
I am in my second period as a KBPC Councillor. Currently, I am an active member of the Joint Recreation Board, Chair of the Planning Committee and have been involved in the revision of the Neighbourhood Plan. I have previously served on the Joint Burial, Grammar School Hall, and Village Hall Committees. I have an interest in practical village projects and was particularly proud of the oak bus shelter in the Square and our VE/VJ memorial bench opposite St Wilfrid's Church. I am also keen to improve our open spaces and to make our village an even better place to live.
